Joses Arins Emanzi is a professional sound designer, audio engineer, music producer, composer, and performing artist based in Kampala, Uganda. As the founder of Mulika Studios, he is dedicated to fusing traditional African music with contemporary soundscapes, bringing a forward-thinking and globally competitive standard to East Africa's audio industry. Film, Television, and Media Credits Joses has an extensive portfolio in audio post-production and scoring for major regional and international media, including: Damalie (TV Series): Handled audio post-production for Season 2 and the first 70 episodes of Season 1, and composed the show's official theme music. Sanyu (TV Series); Composed the official theme song. Feature Films: Worked on Nkinzi (by Rehema Namakula) and Makula (by Nisha Kalema). Growing up surrounded by his father's collection of playback technology—ranging from vintage gramophones to modern smart gadgets—as well as his five guitars, provided Joses with the early practical foundation to master his craft. Personal Interests Outside of the studio, Joses has a deeply analytical and curious mind. He is a passionate lover of film and cinematic scores, and holds deep fascinations with technology, astrophysics, metaphysics, psychology, and Bible scholarship, with a specific interest in textual criticism.
