Biography

Dokta Brain, born Nkwanga Geoffrey Adam, is a Ugandan singer, songwriter, and performer whose sound bridges emotion, rhythm, and truth. With a pen that cuts deep and a voice that heals, he fuses Afrobeat, soul, and urban East-African energy into music that both moves and speaks. He began his journey behind the scenes as a gifted songwriter, crafting lyrics for some of Uganda’s most celebrated voices. That foundation sharpened his storytelling - each line reflective, each melody intentional. When he finally stepped into the spotlight, it wasn’t just to sing but to express the depth of what it means to feel, dream, and rise. Known for projects like Elizabella, Downtown Baller, and the emotionally rich VaT EP (Vibes & Themes), Dokta Brain continues to explore new sounds and narratives. Through collaborations with artists such as Rema Namakula, A Pass, Fik Fameica, Kataleya & Kandle, and others, he has built a sound that transcends borders. Each feature is a dialogue of cultures and creativity, proof of his versatility and genuine artistic curiosity.
